• HOW TO

The “Punchdown Fold” is a great beginner fold! The tip of the cup is narrow making for an easier insertion plus you can hold the fold in place easily as it’s the base of the cup. Keep holding the fold until the cup is inserted then let it pop open.

  • (A TIP)

Angle the tip of the folded cup in and towards your back (like inserting a tampon) for the greatest ease of insertion.

  • STEP 1

Push the rim down to the base

  • STEP 2

Pinch the sides to keep in place

  • HOW TO

The “C-fold” is the quickest of the folds with just one simple push down on the side and hold. However, it can pop open prematurely when trying to insert so our recommendation is to start with the “Punchdown fold” first.

  • (A TIP)

Use both hands, one to hold the top of the fold closed while initially inserting then use the other hand to hold the base and push up to insert.

  • STEP 1

    Apply pressure on one side

  • STEP 2

    Push down and hold

  • HOW TO

Give the “7-Fold” a try if you are having trouble getting the cup to open once inside with the above two.

Tip - you can try the “Triangle variation” if you want a narrower point of insertion, however, the cup will have more “work” to do one inserted to open. To do the triangle fold, bring point you’re folding down closer to the base.

  • STEP 1

    Close the cup

  • STEP 2

Bring one side down to the side of the cup

  • TRIANGLE VARIATION

    Bring the fold down further
