HOW WE HELP

We donate no matter what!

For every 25 pairs of underwear we sell, we give a pair of free POM to help fight Period Poverty. So, with every pair of POM you buy, you are also personally helping to fight Period Poverty. Help make a difference - pop a pair of POMs in your cart.

  • DID YOU KNOW?

    • Over the course of a year, 137,700 children in the UK miss school because of period poverty.
    • A study for Menstrual Health Day found that “41% of 14-21 yr olds in the UK struggle to afford period products – that’s over 1 million people”

JEEVAN PROJECT

The Jeevan Project provides sanitary products and other goodies to people aged 16 - 24 who are leaving the care system. Right Resolution is the not-for-profit organisation that supports these young people.

“Whilst we know periods are a natural part of life, for some individuals, that time of the month is dreaded due to the lack of finances towards period necessities. No one should have to worry about how they can go about their life on their period without the funds to buy period products.”

Research available suggests young people that are Not in Education, Employment and Training or have a lack of support from families are at higher risk of period poverty. The Jeevan project is enabling these young women to reach their full potential and eliminating worries about menstruating.

The Jeeven Project was looking for a more environmentally friendly and cost-saving product to give to the recipients of the packs so POM got involved. Meaning that every donation we make goes to people who want them, need them, and will get many benefits from them.
